Dreams

Dreams can go as far falling asleep from a long day, and dreaming of a being a superhero; to hoping some day you will be a millionaire with your dream job and house.
Not all people are the same, some people dream way different then others and some people may think of the word dream as a different meaning than others. A dream for me would be to play in the NHL some day and get to practice and play the sport I love, at the same time you’re making a lot of money doing something you love--it doesn’t get much better than that. Another person may say they would dream some day they would win the lottery and be a rich wealth person for the rest of there life not worrying about work or money. Other people than some reading this may be a little confused and think what is this these aren’t dreams at all these are wishes not dreams—a dream is you fall asleep and start imaging thinks that could be beyond belief or terrifying nightmares.
Dreams can also be different by the year, dreaming the day where you don’t have to walk 7 miles to the river just to supply back up on water—and then the car came along. Even where you live in the world—dreaming of the day you will not be starving and live a healthy.
So what I’m trying to say is the word dream is a word of many meanings not just one.

Summer 2011

Summer 2011

The first month of my summer was quite simple, starting off with training for the hockey season five days a week two hours a day for the next month and a half in the gym.

One day on the weekend on that first month of summer I got to go to Tofino and be in Brendan Morrison’s fishing derby. Stayed in Tofino for four days didn’t manage to win the derby but got to come home with over 300 pounds in fish including mostly salmon and about 100 pounds of halibut, it was a good experience but I don’t think I would go fishing again because it’s a little bit boring and to many waves which made me feel a little uneasy at some points.

Couple of the smaller things I did in the summer was hanging out with friends and went boating with buddies time to time, but nothing huge in the first half of summer.

Staring with the bigger things was, I came up to Penticton in the second month of summer from Maple Ridge for OHS (Okanogan Hockey School) to come for the on ice training and get better a defense. I stayed in the dorms at the elementary school where they had the little bed mats you would sleep on, they were a little uncomfortable but I got used to them by the three day. Also meeting a lot of new people at the dorms which I end up to be good buddies with most of them.

So during OHS I did three camps I did two weeks of defensemen camp and one week of midget prep. The ice time here made me majorly improve making the Okanogan Hockey Academy recruit me which if a huge opportunity, so I decided to come and play here leave all my friends at home for ten months which was the hardest part about it. So now iam here in a new school I don’t know who anybody is right now but that will change, and it’s the way I want to go to make it far in hockey.

So in the end of this summer I’m very excited for this hockey season and a little nervous but everything should be fine and I think ill do good, and very excited to see where this will take me.
